You do not need to wait for an invite: book online, in the NHS App or on 119, or find a walk in site. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland run their own programmes, so check NHS inform, Public Health Wales or the Public Health Agency if you live there.

If a result worries you, ask your GP surgery or practice nurse to talk it through. Call 111 if you feel unwell and are not sure what to do.

Who can get the COVID vaccine in autumn 2026?

In England: adults aged 75 and over (by 31 January 2027), residents in care homes for older adults, and people with a weakened immune system aged 6 months and over.

How long after my last COVID jab can I have another?

Usually at least 3 months; for most people the gap is around 6 months.

When does the autumn 2026 COVID campaign end?

31 January 2027.
