What we have done
- Every calculator works with a keyboard, with a clear focus ring on links, buttons and boxes.
- Every input has a label, and results are announced to screen readers as they change.
- Text and buttons are checked for colour contrast, and colour is never the only way we show a result.
- Animations stop if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Pages reflow on small screens and when you zoom text up to 200%.
- Decorative pictures are hidden from screen readers.
Known gaps
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA, but we have not yet had an independent audit. Some older calculators still open on the current site while we rebuild them, and those may not meet the same standard yet. They are marked "Coming soon in the new design".
