Weekly Wellbeing Score

A weekly wellbeing score on this page is five marks you give yourself, from 0 to 10, for sleep, movement, outdoor time, people and rest. We add them to a score out of 50 and label a quiet, mixed or better-supported week. It is a habit snapshot you chose. It is not a mental health test and not a diagnosis.

Rate five parts of the week from 0 to 10. Honest numbers work better than kind ones.

How it works

Common questions

What is the weekly wellbeing score?

A 50-point habit check you rate yourself. It is not a depression or anxiety questionnaire.

Is a low score a diagnosis?

No. A quiet week can be illness, nights, weather or a hard job. If you feel low, anxious or unsafe, talk to a GP, 111 or Samaritans.

Should I compare with other people?

No. Compare with your own last week if you compare at all.

What should I change first?

Pick one: earlier lights-out, a short walk, or a message to someone. The outdoor minutes and sleep calculators sit next door.

Example scenarios

Zara, mixed term-time week

Sleep 7, movement 6, outdoor 5, people 7, rest 6

31 / 50. A mixed week.

Graham, after a walking holiday

Sleep 8, movement 8, outdoor 7, people 8, rest 8

39 / 50. A well supported week.

Siobhan, night shifts and rain

Sleep 4, movement 3, outdoor 2, people 5, rest 4

18 / 50. A quieter week. One small change is enough to test.

Understanding your results

The band is a label for the week you scored, not a verdict on you. If the number is low and you feel unsafe or very low, stop scoring and use NHS Every Mind Matters, 111, or Samaritans on 116 123.
